Data Collection Van in Neighborhood


It has been reported that the Data Collection Van as described in this previously circulated memo has been spotted on Apache Ridge Rd.

This "Data Collection Van" will be a white full sized van with Missouri License Plates that says "Tyler Technologies" "Data Collection Santa Fe County Assessor's Office" and will have 3 to 4 people inside.

Hello everyone-

I have bee informed about the Santa Fe County's Data Collection Department and I thought I would pass on this information to you all to inform you that there is a door to door survey being conducted by the Santa Fe County.
The following is a copy of this information and I also attached ther flyer and the PDF map.

Thank you for taking an interest in the activities of the Imaging and Data Collection Project.

The Santa Fe County Assessor’s Office has contracted with Tyler Technologies, Inc. to digitally photograph the exterior of every residence in the County and validate its’ exterior data.

Project goals and benefits:

Ø      Improve the overall quality of property tax data and appraisals/ assessments.
Ø      Complete a property inventory of all improved residential parcels in the county.
Ø      Save taxpayers money by making the property tax administration process more efficient.
Ø      Assist homeowners and businesses with “before” photos in case of losses.
Ø      Enhance emergency management recovery reports necessary for state and federal assistance.
Ø      Validate property addresses to identify homes for fire, police, and medical emergency response.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation with this important project.  If you have questions, please call our main line at the Santa Fe County Assessor’s Office.
